The above are our standard services. If you have a little less time or can't (yet) work five hours straight, but would still like to help us, please see the options below:
START-UP from approximately 9:00 – 11:00 on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday - administering medication, filling food bowls, scooping litter boxes, vacuuming and preparing the kitchen for the opening.
LUNCH from 12:00 – 14:00 on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday - service (see description below).
CLOSED from 4pm – 6pm on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday - scoop litter boxes, feed cats, vacuum, tidy kitchen and cafe and clean for a new day.

All of the above vacancies and daytime activities can also be filled by volunteers. Therefore, no qualification is required. Volunteers must be able to function independently after an induction period. Travel reimbursement is possible.
Wat de werkzaamheden ongeveer inhouden
Cleaning – the café is closed on Tuesdays. We clean every day, but on Tuesdays everything is given a particularly thorough overhaul. Both the cats' private area upstairs, the café downstairs, and the kitchen are being prepared for the start of a new café week. The cats are naturally everywhere (except in the kitchen) and can sometimes give you a little trouble.
Enjoy your work a little. So you'll only have contact with your colleagues and the cats, but no guests coming in. Will you join our team?
The kitchen – We have a small kitchen where we prepare all the food and drinks people order from us. The cats aren't allowed in here, but sometimes Anax secretly tries. If you start in the kitchen, you'll mainly help with washing and drying dishes. You can also learn how to prepare drinks and food and serve it to the waiters. Eventually, we can teach you everything that happens in the kitchen, but we'll tailor this to your needs.
Everyone's skill level. For some, washing dishes is enough, for others, it can take more. Everything at your pace and challenge level. Are you our new kitchen star?
Service – As a service staff member, you're the host/hostess of our café. Welcoming guests, taking orders, serving, clearing the table, and cleaning it for new guests are the main tasks. We also always start by vacuuming the upstairs and scooping litter boxes, and finish by cleaning the litter boxes and the café.
Vacuuming. Here too, the tasks are adapted to your abilities. Many people find it a bit nerve-wracking to talk to guests at first, but they often get used to it very quickly. We'll build everything up step by step, at your pace. Are you ready?
Handyman help

Our cats would love to have their outdoor area renovated. We'd like to be as green as possible and connect a rain barrel. Many scratching posts need new sisal rope, and so on. We're overwhelmed with chores, both large and small. Would you mind helping us? Our cats would be very grateful. Times are negotiable.

Tuesday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM – supervising/managing cleaning activities
As the owner of Digibeet and Cat Café, I currently work 6, sometimes even 7 days a week. I enjoy it immensely, but it's also quite demanding. So, it would be great if someone could take over my Tuesday shift. We're looking for an enthusiastic person who can motivate, guide, and assist with tasks that participants can complete independently. Experience in healthcare is a plus, but not required. You will, of course, receive training, and phone consultations are possible on this day. Once you start working fully independently, a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is required.
